Knocked Prone Review

Average Run Time: 43 mins Game System: D&D 5e Group/Cast Size: 1 DM 5 Players

Release Schedule: Weekly

Began: December 2020 What Makes it unique: Knocked Prone is set in Far Future Faerun, where magic has gone a little bit haywire, people like Venca and Tasha still exist but are changed, just like the landscape. Story Continuity: Sometimes the direction the characters are going in seems random but closer to the end it begins to make more sense as they come back to what I thought their original goal is debatably less prepared and try to do what they almost did at the very start of the season. Sound Quality & Quality Improvement: Sound quality starts a tiny bit lower than it could be but Improves as the cast gets used to using microphones.

Music and Sound Effects: Knocked Prone starts with a Theme song and has background music, and other sound effects, though the choices of how to use these gets better as time goes on the quality of the sound effects seem about the same.

Voice Distinctiveness: It's not all too easy to tell the cast members voices apart however it is somewhat better when they speak in character.

Rules Understanding: Medium follows the rule of cool much more than the other podcasts on this list and seems to turn flavor into mechanics and vice versa.

Bonus Content (Not Main Content): None

Space To Improve: Knocked Prone could Improve their Recaps both in each episode and perhaps by releasing an episode which is a "Story So Far '' type episode.

Also advertisements sometimes cut into the middle of a word and make it very difficult to hear certain parts of the story.

Social Connectivity Ease of Access: Twitter is relatively responsive and also has a Tick-Tok, and Instagram. Has discord Server though has no links to it in Episode notes.
