Family Friendly Rating: ★★★★★
Release Schedule: Biweekly
Average Run Time: 63 minutes
Game System: D&D 5e
Group/Cast Size: 1 DM 3 players
Began: April 1st 2018
What Makes it unique: The adventure is very based on the character backstories, and set in and entirely original, living world – built by the players themselves. n addition they follow Rules As Written 99% of the time.
Story Continuity: the story pulls together as time goes on weaving all the players backstories into what is shaping up to be an interesting endgame scenario In addition all episodes are part of the one story and each player plays the one character so there is no stories to confuse it with,
Sound Quality & Quality Improvement: the sound quality starts out very good and remains stable throughout all episodes.
Music and Sound Effects: The music starts out provided by Tabletopaudio and is very well added into the episodes, as time goes on they get access to more sound effects as editing quality remains superb
Voice Distinctiveness: The voices of the three players are rather similar and they don't have a distinctive character vrs player differentiation. though it is easy to tell the DM Apart from the players.
Bonus Content: Tales of Grisanth is a live campaign done by the same group however it is never released as podcast episodes only as videos so I cannot speak to it's quality.
Rules Understanding: DM has high level of rules understanding.
Criticism Space To Improve: It would be nice to have some kind of bonus content, perhaps something to get to know the players or a Q&A episode, in the podcast that would help separate the players from their characters.
Social Connectivity Ease of Access: Discord is good, and others Including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok are not quite as responsive
Explanation of Rating: Though all the episodes are free of profanities like their discord server which though there are no strict rules warnings have been sent out for cursing and the like in the server.
(Left to right: Azlo Halfling Bard , Badger, Stripy, Shabba Goliath Ranger and Tokas Gnome Fighter)
